ANNAPURNA BIKE TOUR

Around Annapurna Bike tour provides an ultimate biking experience in Nepal. Throughout this tour, you will be riding on a rocky terrain crossing high passes with close view of Himalayas. This will provide you excellent opportunity to experience fun & thrill. This tour itinerary is suitable for only those who have biking experience in a fair altitude with excellent physical fitness. Annapurna region is famous for the culture, lifestyle & tradition of the native people with mesmerizing natural beauty. The lower part of Annapurna region share hilly people tradition & lifestyle where as the upper part is dominated by the Tibetan culture with own identity and different lifestyle.

DAY 01: ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU

Arrive in Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free. Overnight at Hotel.
 
DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Today you will be going on a full-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan City, Pashupatinath temple & Boudhnath stupa. Overnight at Hotel.
 
DAY 03: EXCURSION TO NAGARKOT
Early morning ride to Nagarkot. On the way visit Bhakatpur city. Rest of the day is free to explore nearby areas. Overnight at Hotel.
 
DAY 04: RIDE BACK TO KATHMANDU. EN-ROUTE VISIT SAKHU VILLAGE
At morning, you will ride back to Kathmandu Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check-in at hotel. (Total distances 35-40 Kms/650m descent). Overnight at Hotel.
 
DAY 06: RIDE BESISAHAR – TAAL
Today ride to Taal from Besisahar. On first day will get gain some altitude riding on hilly terrain along the Marshyangdi river. First 25 Kms road is rideable however last section of 11 Kms is Push & carry. Upon arrival, check-in at lodge. (Rideable: 70% Altitude: 760m—1700m Distance: 37km). Overnight at Local Lodge.
 
DAY 07: RIDE TAAL-CHAME
After breakfast, ride towards Chame passing Mani – Buddhist prayer stone in the middle of the path. Today’s ride will give you opportunity to explore the local countryside view with farmers working on their field. Today most of the trail section is mixture of rideable & push. (Rideable: 33% Altitude: 1700m—2570m Distance: 21km). Overnight at Local Lodge.
 
DAY 08: RIDE CHAME – MANANG
Ride along river Pisang crossing two bridges at altitude of 2910m & 3030m. Further ride will bring us to Humde which is highest commercial airport in world. En-route also visit Braga village. Continue further ride to Manang. (Rideable: 75% Altitude: 2570m—3540m Distance: 33km) Overnight at Local Lodge.
 
DAY 09: REST DAY
Today is free for acclimatization. For better adaptation you can probably take some short excursions on near-by areas. Overnight at Local Lodge.
 
DAY 10: RIDE MANANG – THORUNG PHEDI
Today is one of the tough days that we have encounter on our ride till now. Due to altitude padding will be difficult as the trail climb uphill. In some places bikes need to push/carry especially on Landslide prone areas which will make the ride more exhausted. (Rideable: 68% Altitude: 3540m—4450m Distance: 22km) Overnight at Local Lodge.
 
DAY 11: RIDE THORUNG PHEDI – KAGBENI CROSSING THORUNG-LA PASS
Today we will start early to cross Throung-La pass (5410m). It will be difficult day to cross pass at such altitude as most of the road till top of the pass will be 100% carry. It will take around 4 hrs to cross the pass. From top you will see incredible view of Mountain ranges. Descend after crossing Throung-La which will lead us to Kagbeni. If time permit then visit Muktinath temple. (Rideable: 93% Altitude: 5416m—2800m Distance: 22km). Overnight at Local Lodge.
 
DAY 12: RIDE KAGBENI – TATOPANI
Descend to Tatopani – hot spring along wide, rocky and flat trail on rideable road. En-route visit Jomsom town, Marpha & Khopang. (Rideable 100%: Altitude 2800m – 800m: Distance 92km). Overnight at Local Lodge.
 
DAY 13: RIDE TATOPANI – KANYA GHAT BENI & DRIVE TO POKHARA
The trail will be easy as we will ride on less rocky rideable road. Upon reaching Kanya Ghat Beni board a vehicle to drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel.
 
DAY 14: POKHARA
Day is free for optional activities. Overnight at Hotel.
 
DAY 15: DRIVE POKHARA – KATHMANDU
Morning, drive to Kathmandu (200 Kms/6 hrs). Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
 
DAY 16: DEPARTURE TRNSFER
Transfer to Kathmandu airport to connect outbound flight to your home country.

  3. Government license holder English speaking guide and his food, accommodations, salary, insurance, equipments, medicine and transportations.

  8. Trekker’s information management system (TIMS) card fee.
  9. Travel & Rescue arrangements.
